Neil Berg will brings his all new production, 101 Years of Broadway, to the McCallum Theatre for two performances, January 15 and 16 at 8:00 pm. 101 Years of Broadway recreates the biggest moments from the finest shows of the century featuring the stars of shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Evita, Cats,Wonderful Town, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Fiddler on the Roof. Five Broadway Veterans light up the stage with songs from the hit shows in which they starred. Neil Berg presents brilliantly revived arrangements of Broadway classics as well as thrilling songs from Broadway's newest hit shows.

Past productions of this popular show have featured Betty Buckley, Liz Callaway, Ben Vereen, and Alex Santoriello, among others. Along with musical director and pianist Neil Berg, the McCallum Theatre production will feature Charles Bergell (Jean Valjean in Les Miserables); Kimilee Bryant (Christine in Phantom of the Opera); Carter Calvert (It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues); Danny Zolli(Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar), and Lawrence Clayton (Judasin Jesus Christ Superstar ). *

Neil Berg is the composer/lyricist of the hit off-Broadway musical The Prince and the Pauper which ran for two years at the Lamb's Theater in New York City. Berg is currently writing the music for the Broadway bound musical Grumpy Old Men, based on the hit film. Two of Berg's new musicals have been selected for the prestigious New York Musical Theater Festival: The Man Who Would Be King, a musical realization of Rudyard Kipling's novella, and Tim and Scrooge, the sequel to A Christmas Carol.

Charles Bergell performed the role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables on Broadway He appeared as Mssr. Andre in the 2nd National Tour of Phantom of the Opera, directed by Harold Prince, and was a member of the 20th anniversary tour of Evita. Other credits include Children of Eden at The Paper Mill Playhouse (original cast recording); Father Andrew in Neil Berg's hit Off-Broadway musical The Prince and the Pauper; and Linda' Eder's Christmas Concert seen on Bravo Television. Charles is the co-founder and Executive Producer of Broadway Sings, a Broadway performer concert Production Company.

Kimilee Bryant appeared on Broadway in The Pirate Queen covering the role of Elizabeth I. She was Christine in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, in Switzerland and Toronto, and to critical acclaim on the U.S. tour. Recently, she added the diva Carlotta in Phantom to her repertoire, performing the role on Broadway and in the U.S. tour. Kimilee debuted as a soloist at Avery Fisher Hall/National Chorale and performed at the Utrecht Old Music Festival in Holland.

Carter Calvert's New York credits include starring in the original Broadway production cast album and touring productions of It Ain't Nothin' But The Blues. She toured Europe in Smokey Joe's Café,played Grizabella in the national tour of Cats, and appeared as the title role in Always, Patsy Cline.

Lawrence Clayton's most recent New York appearance was as Montel/Jesus in Jerry Springer the Opera at Carnegie Hall. His Broadway appearances include Bells Are Ringing, It Ain't Nothin' but the Blues, The Civil War, Once Upon a Mattress, High Rollers Social Pleasure Club, and Dreamgirls. Off-Broadway includes Crowns at Second Stage; Saturn Returns and Romance in Hard Times atThe Public Theater; and Tapestry, Juba, Black Nativity, The Exception and The Rule and as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Paramount Theater at Madison Square Garden. Regional audiences have seen him in Big River, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Boys from Syracuse, Betsy Brown and Sophisticated Ladies.

Danny Zolli is best known for his monumental number of performances as Jesus, Judas, and Annas in more than 15 productions of Jesus Christ Superstar throughout the world. Danny's unique and stirring performance of the aria "Gethsemane" is debated among Jesus Christ Superstar fans as one of the best. Danny completed, and will soon be releasing, his second solo album entitledSometimes Simple is Best. Most recently, Danny starred as Jesus in the 20th anniversary concert of Jesus Christ Superstar.

The Cast is subject to change based upon possible Broadway and touring developments.

The McCallum Theatre presents Neil Berg's 101 Years of Broadway for two performances, on Tuesday, January 15, at 8:00pm and Wednesday, January 16, at 8:00pm. Tickets are priced at $65, $45, $35 and $25 and are available at the Theatre's website at www.mccallumtheatre.com.
