Tony Award winner Idina Menzel will perform at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on New Year's Eve, and recently stopped by the KTLA studios to discuss the concert, her career and more - view the interview below!

In the winter of 1995, Menzel auditioned for the Broadway bound RENT and won the part of Maureen, which earned her first Tony nomination while the musical went on to win four Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize. In 2003, Menzel originated the role of Elphaba in Wicked, for which she won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. In 2007, she re-recorded and remixed "Gravity" and the song went on to become a Top 5 hit on the Billboard Dance Chart.

Other credits include two Drama Desk nominations for her roles in The Wild Party and See What I Wanna See at The Public Theatre. In 2006, she opened and reprised her starring role in Wicked on the West End. Other film credits include starring roles in the Disney romantic fable, Enchanted, Rent and Robert Towne's Ask The Dust.
