Landing of the Urban Rebels 2012 will play The Complex Hollywood's Flight Theatre, December 13 through 23rd, 2012, written by and starring Kongit Farrell and iEvolve Productions. Farrell talks about what inspired her to write 'Urban Rebels' and create iEvolve in the video!

Landing of the Urban Rebels is a series of vignettes that offer a unique look into today's African-American culture, and asks viewers to consider the following question: Is our culture in decline? If so, will we have the courage to act to change the course? Racism, prejudice, misogyny in Hip-hop, the dehumanization of the African-American female, the psychological impacts of slavery, dating & relationships, the cultural impact of sexual abuse, HIV/AIDS, and Afro-American Pride are all explored in this thought-provoking production.
