The original cast of 'The Brady Bunch,' who reunited for the HGTV series 'A Very Brady Renovation,' sat down on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk about working on the renovation. The cast tells Colbert that they actively participated in the demolition and renovations of the iconic house that their characters lived in.

ACT and SF Zoo Announce Partnership During Run of RHINOCEROS

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) and San Francisco Zoo & Gardens announced today a partnership during the run of Eugene Ionesco's Rhinoceros, performing at A.C.T.'s Geary Theater May 29-June 23, 2019. As part of this unique partnership, A.C.T. and San Francisco Zoo will host San Francisco Zoo Day at The Geary Theater following the 2 p.m. matinee performance of Rhinoceros on Sunday, June 9.

RLTP To Present Staged Reading Of Cult Classic Film

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to announce its new annual fundraiser, Screen to Stage,a public screenplay reading series.  The annual series will kick-off Saturday April 6thwith a reading of 1987's cult classic and iconic film, The Princess Bride.  The Princess Bride, a screenplay by William Goldman, will star RLTP Ensemble members Barry Williams, Kristen Tripp Kelley, Matt Witten, Anthony Alcocer, Lisa Vitrano, Jimmy Janowski, Bob Grabowski, Dave Mitchell and Doug Zschiegner alongside Cassie Cameron, Brian Mysliwy and Ben Moran.  The Princess Bride will be directed by RLTP Artistic Director Scott Behrend and RLTP Ensemble member Katie Mallinson.

In her A.C.T. directorial debut, Artistic Director and Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon-hailed as "the most prolific of directors of Edward Albee's plays" (The Daily Beast)-continues her career-long exploration of American theater's legendary playwright. MacKinnon won the 2013 Tony Award for the Broadway revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, starring Tracy Letts and Amy Morton.

It was a sunshine day at The Brady Bunch house in Los Angeles as six of the legendary sitcom's original cast members came together for the first time in nearly 15 years to kick-off a full-scale overhaul of the world-famous home and begin production on HGTV's newest renovation series, A Very Brady Renovation (w.t.). TV siblings Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) gathered with Jonathan and Drew Scott (Property Brothers), Mina Starsiak and Karen E Laine (Good Bones), siblings Leanne and Steve Ford (Restored by the Fords), Jasmine Roth (Hidden Potential) and Lara Spencer (Flea Market Flip) for an on-camera walk-through of the home. As one of the biggest programming events that HGTV has ever undertaken, the renovation of The Brady Bunch house will feature additional surprise celebrity guests. It is scheduled to premiere in September 2019.

Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly were iconic and game-changing in their era, and still have influence with today's music-makers. The Alhambra Theatre & Dining will kick off its 2018 Alhambra After Dark music series schedule by celebrating Elvis and Buddy Holly. Kevin Mills will return to the Alhambra from February 7 11, 2018 with his award-winning tribute to Elvis in a new show, Elvis is Back! The Rave-Ons, led by one of Alhambra's most popular performers, Todd Meredith, will bring their rendition of Buddy Holly & The Crickets to the Alhambra from March 28 April 1, 2018 in a show entitled, That'll Be the Day. Both shows are concert-style events, and pricing for each show is $65 and includes dinner, performance and parking.

The Baltimore Symphonic Band Presents Baltimore Stories: In Concert

The Baltimore Symphonic Band presents music from Baltimore composers and about the Baltimore experience, in this free concert appropriate for all ages. The program includes a musical tribute to Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven,' along with a performance of the poem by Baltimore's own Barry Williams. CCBC President Dr. Sandra Kurtinitis will read the delightful narrations penned by Baltimore poet Ogden Nash to accompany Saint-Saens' whimsical suite Carnival of the Animals. The program will also include tributes to Billie Holiday, Eubie Blake and the Star Spangled Banner.

Alhambra Opens 2018 Season With MARVELOUS WONDERETTES

The 2018 Alhambra Theatre & Dining season launches January 3 with the Marvelous Wonderettes. This smashing off-Broadway hit takes place at the Springfield High School Prom in 1958 where the audience is introduced to the The Wonderettes, a four-girl tour-de-force with hopes, dreams and voices as big as their crinoline skirts. The show follows their lives and loves from their prom night until they reunite on stage for their 10-year reunion. Audiences in other cities have been found singing and dancing in the aisles as The Wonderettes sing classic hits from the 1950's and 1960's including Lollipop Dream Lover Stupid Cupid and Lipstick on your Collar.
