Lifetime's pilot 'Modern Love' has added Tony Award winner Alice Ripley in a recurring role.

According to Deadline, stage and screen star Eric Stoltz has signed on to star in a pilot for Lifetime entitled, 'Modern Love.' Stoltz will play 'newspaper science editor Simon McElvane as he faces a deteriorating marriage, the ramifications of potentially starting over and balancing his relationship with his adopted 15-year-old daughter.'
