A perplexing love story filled with entwined complexities and a very unique challenge develops in the heartfelt romantic comedy Adam, debuting on DVD February 2, 2010 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. Winner of the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize, awarded to a film which excels in addressing compelling topics in science or technology at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, the lighthearted and moving tale features outstanding performances from Emmy® award nominees* Hugh Dancy (Confessions of a Shopaholic, Beyond the Gates) and Rose Byrne ("Damages," 28 Weeks Later) in an insightful and sincere look at a convoluted and bittersweet account of love from a different perspective. The delightful and uplifting romantic story is about two strangers in search of an extraordinary connection. Hugh Dancy delivers an unforgettable performance as a charming, handsome autistic guy, who falls in love with a brainy, beautiful teacher Beth (Byrne). But can true love survive when two very different worlds collide? With assured direction and poignant humor, this captivating romance proves that an unexpected pair of hearts can soar amongst the stars. Directed by Max Mayer ("Alias"), Adam also co-stars Peter Gallagher ("The O.C.," American Beauty), Amy Irving (Yentl, Crossing Delancy) and Frankie Faison ("The Wire," Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist).

The standard DVD includes writer/director and producer commentary, five deleted scenes, an alternate ending, cast and crew favorite scenes, and more, and will be available for the suggested retail price of $27.98 U.S. / $43.48 Canada. Prebook is January 6.
