As I Like It, reflections on a gilded life that scales the heights of Great Britain's art, literary and social worlds stars noted stage and film/television actress Beth Broderick (Heads, Bad Dates, Sabrina, The Teenage Witch). The play written by and based on the life of Amanda Eliasch, described lovingly as a "femme extraordinaire" by The Daily Mail, is the tale of a woman with a ravenous appetite for life and how her unbridled enthusiasm ultimately contributes to a string of failed relationships. Joining Brockerick onstage is Natalie Salins as the opera singer and Eliasch's son, Charles Eliasch, a virtuoso pianist as The Devotee. Joining the artistic team is Edward Bennett-Coles (Director), Elizabeth Karr (Producer) and Trip Haenisch (Designer).

As I Like It originated from a request by Eliasch's estranged father, noted Daily Mail foreign correspondent Anthony Cave, for her to write a manuscript of 5,000 words by the end of the weekend. Eliasch, who was 22 when she met her father, took up the offer and purposefully decided to approach the project with brutal and unflinching honest. Inspired by the work of Tracey Emin, her work was a portrayal of her life as she saw it.

The granddaughter of writer, producer and director Sideny Gilliat, Eliasch attended The Moscow Arts Theater and the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She is fashion editor of Genlux Magazine and an in-demand photographer for Italian Vogue, L'uomo Vogue, and Bambini Vogue.

WHAT ELSE:
As I Like It premiered at London's Chelsea Theatre in July, 2011, and was directed by the renowned Lyall Watson, Amanda's drama teacher from her days at RADA. The U.S. Production will be directed by Edward Bennett-Coles and is produced by Elizabeth Karr. Designed to be an evolving work of theater, future productions are planned for New York and Paris 2012.

This summer, Amanda mounted her neon exhibition "The Seven Deadly Sins of A Butterfly" at LA's innovative Leadapron Gallery. The installation looked at the decline of modern morals through neon pieces based on cartoon drawings of Amanda drawn by close friend and fellow art patron, Kay Saatchi.

She has also published a book of poetry written on her Blackberry, Cloak and Dagger Butterfly and was editor and photographer for British Artists at Work (commissioned by Vogue, Italia's Franza Sozzani). For the project, which chronicled four generations of established and emerging artists, Eliasch photographed 46 noteworthy artists in their studios. Her photographs have hung in London's Black and White Gallery, The Cork Street Gallery and The Proud Galleries. Publications including The Evening Standard have singled out her works for critical praise.

Eliasch resides in Los Angeles, London and Paris. For more information please visit www.amandaeliasch.net.
