Barnsdall Gallery Theatre Hosts THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES Benefit 2/18-2/20

V Day and Eve's Lime Productions will present a week long benefit to raise funds and awareness to end violence against women and girls. The benefit kicks off Tuesday, February 15 with a Poetry Slam, "Read My Lips" hosted by Diane Amos (the Pinesol Lady) at the Crewest Gallery in Los Angeles; Wednesday, February 16 with a film screening of Until the Violence Stops at Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Los Angeles and Friday, February 18 - 20, features performances of Eve Ensler's award winning play The Vagina Monologues at Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Los Angeles.CAST -

Alison Arngrim - Star of the hit TV show "Little House on the Prairie" Alison Arngrim's comic memoir of growing up as one of television's most memorable characters -- the devious Nellie Oleson. For seven years, Alison Arngrim played a horrible, wretched, scheming, lying, manipulative, selfish brat on one of history's most beloved family TV series. Though millions of Little House on the Prairie viewers might have hated Nellie Oleson and her evil antics, Arngrim grew to love her character and the freedom and confidence Nellie inspired in her. In one woman show and NY Times best-selling novel by the same name, CONFESSIONS OF A PRAIRIE BITCH, Arngrim, a longtime stand-up comic, recounts her most cherished and often hilarious behind-the-scenes stories from the Little House set, and her experiences growing up in an eccentric Hollywood family. Ms. Arngrim is currently the spokeswoman for PROTECT.org, a pro child, anti- crime political organization.

DIANE AMOS - Diane Amos leaves an impression. This wife and mother of two is an actress ("Nine Months," "Angels in the Outfield"), a successful stand-up comedian, an inspirational speaker, and a winning contestant on game shows like "$25,000 Pyramid," and "Wheel of Fortune." But you may know her best as The Pine-Sol Lady, a role she first took on in 1993. Diane's powerful presence is an ideal fit for the power of Pine-Sol. Her strength comes from an unshakable bond with mom Pearl (who was also a Pine-Sol user). Diane sums it up, "My mother told me I was smart, that I was beautiful, and that I could do whatever I set my mind to."

Kate Linder - Over twenty-eight years ago, in April, 2011, Linder got the role and delivered her line, "Dinner is served," on "The Young and the Restless." She was asked back the next day. And the next. And soon. Now she remains a key member of the top-rated daytime drama's cast, but needless to say, with a greatly expanded role. Ms Linder was recently presented with her own Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Only the fourth daytime drama personality to receive such as honor. Linder has been the Celebrity Spokesperson for the ALS Association since her brother-in-law, Scott, was diagnosed with the disease five years ago. Each May, Linder flies to Washington D.C. to lobby Congress on their behalf and she's spoken at numerous national and local events across the country on behalf of the organization, including at many of their Walk to D'Feet ALS fundraisers.

Tippi Hedren - From Hitchcock and Chaplin to Ed Wood, Jr., and from drama and terror to droll comedy, the career of actress Tippi Hedren has been meteoric, and eclectic. She is only actress to have worked under the direction of both Hitchcock and Chaplin. Having never been out of work since she made her film debut in "The Birds," Tippi continues to work frequently in motion pictures, theatre, and episodic television. Her contributions to cinema have been honored with Life
Achievement awards world-wide and she was honored as a "Woman of Vision" by Women of Film and Video in Washington, D.C., receiving the Presidential Medal for her work.
