The 4th annual Project Save Our Surf: SURF 24 took place October 15th -16th in Santa Monica, California. Event founder Tanna Frederick along with former world champion surfer Peter "PT" Townend were on hand all weekend for the surfathon which hosted a myriad of celebrity and pro-surfers in an effort to raise money for charities Santa Monica Baykeeper, Waves for Water, Inside the Outdoors and Tumelo Home.

Celebrities who hit the surf for the two-day event included John Slattery (Mad Men), Tate Donovan (Damages), Jesse Spencer (House), Gregory Harrison (One Tree Hill), Kasey Kahl (Bachelor Pad) and others, along with pro-surfers such as James Pribram, Jesse Faen, Erin Edwards, Mary Osborne, and Jon Rose. Project Save Our Surf: SURF 24 raised over $15,000 for charity.
