Every Wednesday night beginning August 4, 2010 at 6 p.m. throughout the month of August, families and friends will once again gather on The Green to enjoy the last days of summer at the annual free concert series at The Americana at Brand.  The concerts are produced by 'Chris Isaacson Presents!' who has produced and promoted over 450 events and some of the most influential stars of his generation.  Isaacson is also creator and founder of Los Angeles’ renowned Upright Cabaret.  Free and open to the public, the summer concert series will feature performances by some of the hottest names and rising stars in music.  A premier lineup of musical talent includes:
 
•    AUG. 4 at 6 p.m. – Grammy winner and Emmy-nominated singer/songwriter Steve Tyrell will jazz up the crowd when he performs some of his greatest hits at The Americana at Brand. A world renowned artist who shot to fame singing “The Way You Look Tonight” in the hit movie Father of the Bride, Steve Tyrell’s first album, A New Standard, spent 90 weeks on Billboard’s jazz chart and peaked in the top 5.  Opening the evening is critically acclaimed singer and actress Jennifer Leigh Warren, praised for her show-stopping performance as "Alice's Daughter" in the original Broadway cast of Big River, originating the role of "Crystal" in the Alan Menken/Howard Ashman Off Broadway smash Little Shop of Horrors and for her performance in the original Broadway cast of Michael John LaChiusa's Marie Christine at Lincoln Center and was featured on the Grammy Award-nominated albums of those shows. Mrs. Warren will be joined by MD Gerald Sternbach.

•    AUG. 11 at 6 p.m. – Grammy- nominated singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield has sold more than 10 million singles and albums worldwide and has had five top 10 U.K. singles and 4 top ten U.S. singles. Her 2006 U.S. debut came with the No. 1 single, "These Words". Later that year, "Unwritten" became the most- played song on mainstream American radio.  Her success continued in 2008/2009 with her sophomore album "Pocketful of Sunshine."  It included the platinum hit “Love Like This” and the title track went on to sell nearly 3million singles on iTunes in the U.S.  “Unwritten” received a Grammy Award Nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.  Natasha's most recent single "Touch," off of her forthcoming album due out in the fall, is currently available on iTunes.  Also performing is rising talent and Grammy Award-nominated songwriter, singer Matt Morris, best-known for his moving track “Live Forever” off his album When Everything Breaks Open.   

•    AUG. 18 at 6 p.m. – Taylor Dayne is one of the most recognizable and beloved personalities in pop music for more than 20 years. With 17 Top-10 Hits including “Tell It to My Heart,” “I’ll Be Your Shelter,” and “Love Will Lead You Back,” Taylor Dayne stands out as one of music’s most dynamic artists. Her versatile and powerful voice has gained recognition in multiple genres from pop and dance, to rock and adult contemporary; earning her three Grammy Nominations, and numerous multi-platinum and gold selling albums. She has sold out two world tours and successfully appeared in numerous film, television, and stage roles including Elton John and Tim Rice’s Tony Award Winning Musical “Aida” in 2001.  Opening the concert will be season two American Idol semi-finalist and Broadway star Frenchie Davis.  The talented performer has appeared in the Broadway musical RENT, the West coast tour of DreamGirls and the hit Broadway play Ain’t Misbehavin.

•    AUG. 25 at 6 p.m. – Grammy-award winner and singer/songwriter Paula Cole will enchant the crowd when she closes the summer concert series.  Recognized for her soulful lyrics and unforgettable voice, Paula is best-known for her smash hit songs “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” and “I Don’t Want to Wait” which was the theme song to the hit WB show Dawson’s Creek.  In Sept 2010, Paula will celebrate the release of her much-anticipated new album, "Ithaca". Paula will debut songs from "Ithaca" on The Americana at Brand stage.  Singer/songwriter and actor Tyler Hilton, who is celebrating the release of his new EP, Ladies and Gentlemen, will also take the stage.  Hilton portrayed young Elvis Presley in the Oscar-winning Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line and performed two songs on its platinum soundtrack.  He also guest-starred on The CW's One Tree Hill and performed on all three of the show's soundtracks. Hilton is currently featured in Gap's Fabric of Music campaign.
