After six successful months of packed house performances at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York (co-founded by "SNL/Baby Mama/Blades of Glory" star Amy Poehler,)  "Jen and Angie," a comedy play about the classic rivalry between Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, is coming to Hollywood. For two nights only, May 28 and June 5, "Jen and Angie" will play at 8 pm at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, located at 5919 Franklin Ave in Hollywood, 90028.

Starring two of New York's hottest, up and coming actress/comediennes --Sara Chase as "Jennifer Aniston" and Christina Casa as "Angelina Jolie" -- the storyline behind "Jen and Angie" is as follows: A jet crashes on a remote island in the Pacific. Only 2-1/2 celebrities survive: Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, and Brad Pitt (well, actually, a Brad Pitt mannequin!) It's a ferocious battle for survival, as these protagonists face hunger, the elements, and the truth about themselves. Who will make it off the island? Find out what happens in a story no tabloid on Earth could have ever invented.

"Jen and Angie" stars Sara Chase and Christina Casa. The show was written by Laura Buchholz and Christina Casa, with thanks to Matthew Stillman. "Jen and Angie" was directed by Susanah Becket.

Sara Chase ("Jennifer Aniston") is a writer/actress/comedienne living in New York City. Her sketch videos have been featured in the NY Comedy Festival and on several comedy websites. Sara was recently seen as "Judy" on "As the World Turns," giving birth in an elevator. She also starred in the pre-Broadway workshop of "Prairie" playing Laura Ingalls opposite Melissa Gilbert as "Ma" and Patrick Swayze as "Pa." Sara can also be seen in the upcoming film "Uncertainty," starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Her other credits include roles in "Godspell" at New York's Papermill Playhouse, "Slut Off-Bway," the title role in the pre-Broadway workshop of "Kristina" (from writers/producers B. Andersson/ B. Ulvaues of ABBA,) and a role in the film "Little Black Book." Sara is a graduate of Boston University's College of Fine Arts. For more information, please see: www.sarachase.com

Christina Casa ("Angelina Jolie,") is a playwright, actress, improviser and celebrity impersonator.  Recent work includes her multi-character solo piece "American History XXY" as well as hosting various shows and events as her favorite character, "Mountain Woman." In the past, Christina has performed with the NYC-based Improv groups "The Book Club," "Character Dogville," "SMACK" (Second City,) and "All Things Walter."  Christina has trained at Syracuse University, Carnegie Mellon, SUNY Purchase, Second City NY, and Upright Citizen's Brigade, with Gary Austin and Armando Diaz. For more information, please see: www.christinacasa.com.

"Jen and Angie" co-writer Laura Buchholz is also a writer for "A Prairie Home Companion" with Garrison Keillor, where she writes sketches such as "Crispy the Rescue Dog" and "Duane, the Chosen Son." Also a noted director, Laura studied Improv in New York at the Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet Theaters, and has performed at The Moth StorySLAMs in New York. She currently lives in St. Paul, MN.
