Jerome Elliott returns with his one-man cabaret show, Crawling Back to Broadway due to popular demand by the audiences at Joslyn Center's Arthur Newman Theatre. This command performance show will take place on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at a 2 PM matinee and marks the 60th show of the Sunday In Summer Cabaret Series created by Les Michaels and Life Is A Cabaret Entertainment which is in it's second season and runs through November 20th with a different show each week.

Elliott's "Crawling Back To Broadway" takes its cue from the 1967 cult film hit Valley of the Dolls; in particular, a pivotal scene where Susan Hayward and Patty Duke, portraying dueling show business divas, engage in a spirited cat fight and Hayward utters the famous line: "They drummed you right out of Hollywood, so you come crawling back to Broadway!" With this inspiration, Elliott has crafted a tribute featuring songs and story lines about people in films and show business drawn from such movies and Broadway musicals as Valley of the Dolls, Inside Daisy Clover, Fame, 70 Girls 70, Mack and Mabel, A Star is Born, Chicago¸ Evita, and Merrily We Roll Along, taking his audience on a comic and sometimes irreverent journey through a career "in the biz."

Jerome's previous successes include his recent A Dry Heat, of which Cabaret Scenes critic Elliot Zwiebach wrote: "Jerome Elliott is hot... (he) filled an ample stage that contained only a piano and a microphone with the power of his voice and the pleasance of his personality." He also received raves with Something to Smile About and The Great American Love Song, both of which received The Desert Theater League Award nominations. An alumnus of the prestigious 2008 International Cabaret Conference at Yale University, Mr. Elliott has appeared in numerous theatrical productions including roles at Palm Canyon Theater.

Joining Jerome will be music director Charlie Creasy, whose credits include musical director for the legendary chanteuse Hildegarde.
