David Green's Musical Theatre University announces its National Youth Summer Stock, an intensive five week educational and performance experience for talented Musical Theatre performers, ages 14-24, from across the nation to be held in Laguna Beach, California from July 12 through August 15.

The National Youth Summer Stock is the only program of its' kind in the nation. 75 of the country's most talented young performers, selected by audition, participate in Master Classes with Broadway's most celebrated artists and produce four full scale musical theatre productions --- this season the Summer Stock will produce the West Coast regional premiere of "The Light In The Piazza", the world premiere of "How The Nurse Feels" (which was featured as part of the Disney-ASCAP workshop under the direction of Stephen Schwartz and has had multiple New York readings) and, in celebration of Stephen Sondheim's 80th birthday, "Into The Woods". The fourth production will be announced in the coming weeks.

The faculty and creative teams are comprised of professional Broadway artists and past instructors include Shoshana Bean, Jason Robert Brown, Jeff Marx, Andrew Lippa, Stephanie Block, Teri Ralston, Jonelle Allen and more.
