The 28th Annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event-S.T.A.G.E.- just presented ORIGINAL CAST 3, a musical celebration showcasingartists from theater, television and cabaret performing songs they originated in musical productions. This year, the annual event, which benefits AIDS Project Los Angeles, returned to the Saban Theatre Beverly Hills. Check out photos from the celebration below!

Heading the list of participants were: Anna Maria Alberghetti, Adrienne Barbeau, Len Cariou, Nancy Dussault, Beth Fowler, Bonnie Franklin, Brian Lane Green, Bill Hutton, Carol Lawrence, Donna McKechnie, Susan Watson, Lillias White and John Lloyd Young.

Since 1996, S.T.A.G.E. has recognized performers, philanthropists, businesses, organizations and individuals for their dedicated work in the fight against AIDS with the S.T.A.G.E. Producers Award. This year, the S.T.A.G.E. Producers Award will be presented to film, television and stage actor Leslie Jordan for his long-standing commitment to the AIDS community. He has worked tirelessly on behalf of organizations such as Project Nightlight, an early off-shoot of Project Angel Food, The Trevor Project, the Human Rights Campaign, San Diego-based Stepping Stone, Tulsa Cares in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Chattanooga Cares in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Jordan, an Emmy® winner for his work on the long-running television series "Will and Grace," is the author of the popular book My Trip Down the Pink Carpet, which became a one-man show that played off-Broadway and in London's West End. He also starred in the autobiographical theatrical production, Like a Dog on Linoleum in Los Angeles and several other U.S. cities.

S.T.A.G.E., the world's longest continuously running AIDS event, is the second fund-raising event ever created to fight AIDS. It has raised millions of dollars for HIV/AIDS organizations throughout the Southern California over the last 28 years. Net proceeds from ORIGINAL

CAST 3 will go to AIDS Project Los Angeles, one of largest non-profit AIDS service organizations in the United States, which provides bilingual direct support services, prevention education and leadership on HIV/AIDS-related policy and legislation. Founded by four friends in 1982, APLA is a community-based, volunteer-supported organization with local, national and global reach.
