Photo Flash: Ryan Scott Oliver's OUT OF MY HEAD Plays Pico Playhouse

The Mechanicals Theatre Group, a professional Acting Company (Los Angeles) has joined forces with Ryan Scott Oliver (Disney's musical adaptation of Freaky Friday) for the LA Premiere of "Out of My Head", music by Ryan Scott Oliver , book by Kirsten Guenther, and directed by Jacob Harvey.

The performances will take place July 29th - August 21st (Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m.) at the Pico Playhouse in West Los Angeles, located at 10508 W Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064. Tickets prices are $20 and are on sale at www.mechanicalstheatregroup.com or for $25 at the door.

The cast will include company members Saro Badalian, Emily Clark, and Jeni Incontro as well as Robyn Clark (Gypsy with Patti LuPone), Anna Bowen (National Tour of 101 Dalmatians), and Gary Brintz (National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof).

"Out of My Head" is the 2nd production of the 2011-2012 Production Season and presented by Jacob Harvey and Eric Bilitch, Co-Artistic Directors of The Mechanicals Theatre Group. The Mechanicals "vow to explore, celebrate, and deepen our understanding of the human experience, and the theatre arts with honesty and a sense of youthful vitality,. We will present socially and culturally relevant work which explores and transcends any and all theatre genres and material.

Our goal is to approach our work with an open mind and to challenge our own and our audience's assumptions of theatre and society at large. In this endeavor we will entertain and enlighten ourselves and our community and, in so doing, profoundly affect the world in which we live."

A portion of the proceeds from this production will be given to Villa Esperanza Services to provide help to individuals who suffer from Mental Illness. For more information visit: www.villaesperanzaservices.com
