With West Hollywood hot-spot La Boheme Restaurant going through a remodeling phase, Upright Cabaret has taken their show outdoors for the warm summer months and on August 10, 2007 they performed at EAT on SUNSET at Gower Studios in Hollywood, with stars including Shoshana Bean, Julie Reiber and Chad Kimball turning out for the event.

Valarie Pettiford (Broadway: Fosse, Big Deal; West End: Chicago; TV: Half and Half) and Ruth Williamson (Broadway: La Cage aux Folles, Guys and Dolls, The Music Man; TV: Nip/Tuck) were on hand in the audience as both are scheduled to perform Saturday, August 25th, as UPRIGHT continues its tour at Eat on Sunset. Shoshana Bean and Tracie Thoms are also both slated to appear, joined by Jenna Leigh Green (Nessarose) and Kristoffer Cusick (Fiyero) of the current LA cast of Wicked, Jenn Gambatese (Broadway: Tarzan, All Shook Up, Hairspray), David Burnham (Broadway: The Light in the Piazza), and many of your UPRIGHT favorites!

Upright producers/hosts Shane Scheel and Chris Isaacson along with music director Trapper Felides staged their show under the stars on EAT'S open air patio with highlights including Tracie Thoms performing a Jeremy Schoenfeld original, "Falling Apart," Jenn Malenke reprising her recent critically acclaimed performance of "Poor Wandering One," Audra Mae warming up for her August 14th Hotel Cafe gig and Chad Kimball turning in a powerhouse "Lost in the Wilderness." Julie Reiber and Emily Rozek also rushed two blocks from the Pantages Theatre where they both standby for Elphaba and Glinda in Wicked to add some additional sparkle to the evening.

On August 25, 2007 Upright will present another evening of Hollywood Nights at EAT on SUNSET at Gower Studios with a show time of 10 p.m.  For reservations call 323-461-8800.

Leading into September Upright Cabaret will return to their original stomping grounds with One Night Stands at Mark's Restaurant from September 6-10, 2007.  One Night engagements with Upright Cabaret performers such as Chad Kimball, Kristen Reitter, Audra Mae, Jake Simpson, Bree Bruns and more.  Mark's is located at 861 N. La Cienaga Blvd. in West Hollywood.  For reservations, call 310-652-5252.
