Forget the Olivier's, the Hepburn's or the Royalty of Europe. The other day Carol (Channing) got to meet Yo Gabba Gabba! The group is a popular kids' show currently airing on Nick jr. DJ Lance Rock, Muno (the red cyclops), Foofa (the pink flower bubble), Brobee (a little hairy green monster), Toodee (the blue cat-dragon) and Plex (the magic yellow robot) joined "Good Day LA" for a sing-a-long and dance. Carol says "Brobee has my father's eyes." The Yo Gabba Gabba! show entitled "There's A Party In My City" will be doing a 60 city North American live tour that kicks off on August 27! Having a special interest in programs that entertain children while building a "Channing coalition" of agency's and organizations with similar interests, Ms. Channing ran into the members of Yo Gabba Gabba! on the set of Good Day LA, while promoting The Spirit of 45 (honoring Veterans of WWII, such as her husband Harry Kullijian); her recent CD "For Heaven's Sake" and, most importantly, her national campaign to restore the Arts to public schools (ChanningArts.org) as well as the current resolution authored by Rep Jackie Speier, which recently passed the House and is being presented to the Senate in Sept .
