Now at the forefront of play development and producing new works, three award-winning theaters are joining forces for the first time. The beneficiary will be the Los Angeles theatre audience who will see the World Premiere staging of Donald Freed's new play, Tomorrow. Damian Cruden (Artistic Director from England's York Royal Theatre) directs a stellar cast, which includes Salome Jens, Geoffrey Forward, and Jenn Robbins.

A young star, a great American actress, Lady Macbeth and the final chapter. In preparation for a major New York/London production, a brilliant and ambitious young actress has petitioned Abigail Booth, the legendary hundred-year old doyen of the American Theatre, to coach her for the part. But, by week's end, a life-changing secret has taken priority.

Donald Freed is an award-winning playwright whose critically acclaimed Broadway play Inquest (The United States v. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg), was a decades-long collaboration with Harold Pinter in the United Kingdom and America. He achieved residency at York Theatre Royal, North Yorkshire, UK and was awarded a Fellowship at the Rockefeller Foundation in Bellagio, Italy. His play Devils Advocate opened at The Mercury Theatre in the U.K., moved to the Edinburgh Festival, and won the PEN Prize for Drama. Mr. Freed has conducted a renowned series of seminars for developing playwrights at London's Old Vic, and his works have frequently been performed at The Mercury Theatre in Colchester. He is currently a playwright in residence at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. Edgar Rice Burrows Tarzana Clubhouse. SKYLIGHT THEATRE COMPANY (Formerly Katselas Theatre Company) is a vibrant, expanding family of artists committed to developing and producing new works that resonate with Los Angeles' richly diverse population. STC's focus on supporting and developing local talent through its various INKubator development programs has found wide-ranging appeal. Offering both established and untried Los Angeles playwrights a home to test and refine their work in front of an audience, the 2011 and 2012 INKubator programs reflected the work of more than 100 local writers and 30 musicians through 45 staged readings, 18 extended workshop productions, and eight musical events. The 2011 and 2012 production seasons featured the world premieres of nine INKubator projects, with four more world premieres scheduled for 2013. Nominations and awards have taken notice STC's new focus on local writers. In 2010 STC produced INFLUENCE (2010 Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle nomination for Best Actor and two LA Weekly nominations for Best Play and Best Production),HERMETICALLY SEALED (2011 Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle nomination for Best Actress, an LA Weekly nomination for Best Ensemble and the LA Times List of top ten productions for 2011) and MAD WOMAN (2011 Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle nomination and an LA Weekly Award Winner for Best Solo Performance) in addition to numerous Critic's Choice or Pick of the Week designations.

ROGUE MACHINE presents plays that are new to Los Angeles, both world premieres and the best new plays coming from the U.S. and the U.K. In less than 5 years the company has won more than 37 awards, including the 2011 Polly Warfield Award for Excellent Season in Small to MidSize Theater, funded by the Nederland Organization, BEST PRODUCTION Awards (two consecutive years) from the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, Ovation, and Garland and 7 LA Weekly Awards last year including one for BEST PRODUCTION for Small Engine Repair by John Pollono, and 11 LA Weekly Award nominations this year,including one for BEST PRODUCTION for Dirty Filthy Love Story.
