It's been a quarter of a century, but the women of Star Trek: TNG are still going strong. Twenty-five years after they first met on the series, Gates McFadden ("Dr. Beverly Crusher") and Denise Crosby("Tasha Yar") are thrilled to collaborate at Ensemble Studio Theatre/LA, where artistic director McFadden directs company member Crosby in the West Coast premiere of Gregory Moss's House of Gold.

Inspired by the unsolved murder of six-year old JonBenét Ramsey, House of Gold is a hilarious, yet scathing critique of our culture, revealing dark truths about our values, and, ultimately, about ourselves. It's a dark, kaleidoscopic comedy about childhood in America.

"What a rare opportunity for two women, artists, to continue to collaborate in such a meaningful way, after 25 years and counting," says Crosby. "Both Gates and I are mothers, and we see how vulnerable our children are and how predatory our culture is. This is what House of Gold speaks to."

Agrees McFadden, "Denise and I have similar tastes in theater and the visual arts, so House of Gold gives us an opportunity
to work on something together that is close to both of our hearts. We're having a ball!"

Performances of House of Gold take place October 15 thru December 4 at Atwater Village Theatre in Los Angeles. To purchase tickets, call 323-644-1929 or go to www.ensemblestudiotheatrela.org.
