THE LeVAN FAMILY MUSICIANS are Eric Le Van, world-renowned concert pianist, and his children, 14 year old Sarah, 12-year old Solene, and 9-year old Sean.

Whether as soloists or an ensemble, this audacious and charming family of world-class musicians has performed worldwide to great acclaim. All three children excel as pianists, violinists, and as vocalists; while their father has been lauded for his own abilities as a pianist (see below).

Recently returned from their debut performance at Carnegie Hall, THE LeVAN FAMILY MUSICIANS brings its family-friendly concert "Around the World with The LeVan Family" to the Southland in preparation for further touring later this year. The concert features selections from popular classical favorites as well as jazz standards and show tunes - all performed with professional brio by these precocious, yet seasoned, youngsters.

THE LeVAN FAMILY MUSICIANS will appear onstage at The Curtis Theatre in Brea, California on Friday and Saturday, May 21 and 22 at 9PM.

As amazing a display of talented brilliance as one could ever expect to be found in a single family, these young people demonstrate just how much fun is to be had while performing onstage with one's siblings (even with Dad on the piano!). Equally at ease and comfortable playing everything from Bartok's "Romanian Dances", Paganini's Caprices for violin and piano (considered to be among the most difficult pieces in the entire violin repertoire) to "Pure Imagination" (from Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory) for voice, piano and bass - not to mention the banter between pieces - this evening promises to delight and enchant even the most jaded audience member.

About The LeVan Family Musicians

"Eric Le Van's pianism is mesmerizing. It has everything: sensitivity, expressive tone, shading, superb finish, and faultless taste and style." With those words, the American Record Guide's David Mulbury echoed the sentiments of many of his colleagues who have likewise found in Eric Le Van a musician of exemplary depth and power. Indeed, Bryce Morrison of Gramophone extolled him as "a brilliant pianist, youthful, ardent and communicative, magically fleet and affectionate." Mr. Le Van has performed in prestigious venues around the world, such as the Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress, the International Beethoven Fest, and the Bayreuth Festival. He has issued widely acclaimed recordings on BMG-Arte Nova, Gallo, Tudor, and Music & Arts.

Among Solene's awards are a First Place in the Las Vegas USA World Showcase (2004), First Place on America's Most Talented Kids (2005), and Gold Medal at the American Association for the Development of the Gifted and Talented (AADGT) "Passion of Music" Competition (2010), at which her brother Sean took the Silver Medal.
