The El Capitan Theatre Screens MONSTERS, INC. 3D, 12/19-1/6

Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre welcomes the return of "Monsters, Inc," one of Disney•Pixar's most beloved and visually imaginative feature films, presented in stunning 3D for the first time ever from Dec.19 - Jan.6, 2013.
 
"There is no better place than the El Captain Theatre to thrill to the eye-popping RealD 3D release of 'Monsters, Inc.' and celebrate the season," said Lylle Breier, senior vice president of worldwide special events for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. "Before every showing of the movie, Mike and Sulley will appear live on stage to get all of our El Capitan guests in the holiday spirit. Even Boo is getting in on the fun by hosting a special character breakfast on select days. It's fun for the entire family."
 
Daily showtimes are 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and available at the El Capitan Theatre (6838 Hollywood Blvd.), online at www.elcapitantickets.com or by calling 800-DISNEY6. Special group rates for parties of 20 or more are available by calling 818-845-3110. Showtimes are subject to change.
 
On select days, El Capitan guests may also enjoy a special character breakfast with Boo prior to the 10 a.m. show at Disney's Soda Fountain & Studio Store. Seating is limited and reservations are required by calling 818-845-3110.
 
The El Capitan Theatre will also host a very special Tiny Tot Tuesday on Dec. 25 at 10 a.m. During this special screening of "Monsters Inc. 3D," parents and small children can enjoy the movie in a Tiny Tot-friendly way­––complete with lights dimmed rather than out and reduced sound levels.
