The Gardenia Presents Neile Adams' WASN'T IT GOOD! WASN'T IT FINE!, 11/9-17

The Gardenia will present Broadway, television and film actress and singer, Neile Adams in "Wasn't It Good! Wasn't It Fine!," a musical celebration of her memories and the stages of her life. The 60-minute show will be presented at The Gardenia, 7066 Santa Monica Boulevard (East of La Brea Avenue), West Hollywood, Calif., on Fridays and Saturdays, November 9, 10, 16 and 17, 2012 at 9:00 p.m.

The show will include popular songs like: "Shaking The Blues Away" by Irving Berlin, "Arthur" by Kander & Ebb, "This Time It's The Big Time" by Jerry Herman, "In A Very Unusual Way" by Morey Yeston, "Smile" by Charles Chaplin, "See Saw" by Cy Coleman, "You're Just Too Marvelous" by Richard Whiting and Johnny Mercer and "Look For The Silver Lining" by Jerome Kern, among others.

Ted Sprague directs. Andy Howe serves as Musical Director. Admission is $20.00 per person, plus a $10 two-drink minimum per person, unless having dinner, which is served from 7:00 p.m. Dinner and Show Reservations may be made by calling The Gardenia at, 323-467-7444. Street parking is available.

Broadway performer Neile Adams ("Kismet," "The Pajama Game," "At The Grand") was personally selected by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II to play a lead in their first National Company Tour of "Me And Juliet." She is a member of the charitable organization, SHARE and is a board member of The Boys Republic of Chino Hills. In 1986, Adams wrote her best selling book entitled, "My Husband, My Friend," about her life with her former husband, Steve McQueen. In December 2006 a 20th Anniversary edition of Adams' book was re-released by AuthorHouse and is now available at Amazon.com.
