Co-stars of Stephen Schwartz's hit Broadway and Los Angeles companies of Wicked will perform in "Broadway
Unplugged at The Ford" on Monday, October 15 at 8PM at the outdoor John Anson
Ford Amphitheatre.
Wicked stars including
Eden Espinosa, Kristoffer Cusick, Shoshana Bean, Jenna Leigh Green, Julie
Reiber, Emily Rozek, Adam Lambert, Melissa Fahn and Linda Kerns, will join
Broadway friends Sean McDermott, Jack Noseworthy, Chad Kimball and many more for
the event. Los Angeles Ovation Award winner Gerald Sternbach serves as Musical
Director.
"Broadway Unplugged at The Ford" serves as a Benefit for the
Valley Musical Theatre's programming and educational work program with the Los Angeles Unified School District
to present the arts to their schools by bringing students to the theatre for a free
performance of shows on the Valley Musical Theatre's schedule.
"This unique, acoustic, up-close and personal production
will be presented at one of Los
Angeles' oldest performing arts venues. Nestled in the Hollywood Hills, The John
Anson Ford Amphitheatre is set against a backdrop of cypresses and chaparral.
It is relatively intimate: no patron is more than 96 feet away from the stage,"
