Conservatives, Liberals, Punkers, Rocker Girls, Fairies, maintenance workers, Uptown, Downtown and the Central Park of Athens slam together in The Art of Acting Studio and the Harold Clurman Lab Theater’s presentation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Directed by Don K. Williams, Midsummer is set in “Athens” where neo-conservative lawmakers outlaw love; punk kings, rocker queens and Clockwork Orange droogs rule the Central Park; a band of sanitations workers dream of stardom; and the power of love (and “potions”) makes all right in the world.
