Carnegie Hall has announced the lineup for the summer 2023 season of Carnegie Hall Citywide, the Hall’s free concert series that brings live music to neighborhoods across New York City. 

Cuban piano virtuoso Omar Sosa and Senegalese kora (21-string harp lute) master Seckou Keita, whose collaborations brilliantly embrace jazz, Latin and African influences, return to New York revisiting their acclaimed SUBA album.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) will open its doors for a free concert on Sunday, May 7 at 2 p.m. Led by BSO Music Director Andris Nelsons and Boston Pops Conductor Keith Lockhart, the program will feature a diverse musical program designed to celebrate the City of Boston while building community through the shared experience of great music.

Now Jon Anderson and the group are proud to bring the show to Europe to continue that magic with a set of YES Classics, deep cuts, mash ups, and solo works, all with lush arrangements featuring choral singing, horns, and all of the other benefits having a 25-piece backing band provides.

Since its inaugural season in 2008, Music in May (MiM) has featured a rotating roster of internationally renowned musicians and its 16th season is no exception.

Macumba was born in Cyprus. This excellent band moves towards Latin Jazz and World Music directions and paths. The collaboration between Elias Ioannou (trumpet), Giorgos Morfitis (keyboard), Rodrigo Caceres (bass) and Rodos Panayiotou (drums) brings a new air to the music scene of the island.

Bloomingdale School of Music has announced the annual Spring Benefit on April 3, 2023 at 6:30 pm at Scandinavia House, 58 Park Ave, NYC. Bloomingdale will also be celebrating 30 years of the Music Access Project (MAP), its signature, three-year pre-college training program for musically talented children in need, featuring high-quality instruction and personal mentoring.

Grammy Award-winner Joshua Bell, one of the most celebrated violinists of his era, joins Maestro Gerard Schwarz and Palm Beach Symphony in an evening of Mendelssohn and Beethoven at the Kravis Center on Sunday, April 16 at 8 p.m.

The Puerto Rico JazzFest '23 returns with a tribute to internationally acclaimed saxophonist, composer and producer Miguel Zenón. The festival, which runs Friday through Sunday, March 17-19 with the Zenón tribute on Saturday, brings together a stellar roster of artists to honor his extraordinary music.
