David F. M. Vaughn Joins SHREK National Tour As 'Lord Farquaad'

DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. are pleased to announce that David F. M. Vaughn has recently joined the National Tour of SHREK THE MUSICAL in the role of the vertically challenged villain Lord Farquaad. He is joined by Justin W. Shuffler, who will play the Big Bad Wolf.

Broadway In Chicago along with producers DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. launched the First National Tour of SHREK: The Musical in Chicago on July 13, 2010. Chicagoan Eric Petersen leads the Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning SHREK as it plays a limited eight week engagement in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph St.). The official Facebook page for SHREK THE MUSICAL has announced that 'First up: he may be small in size (a mere 4 feet, 10 inches), but he makes up for it in tyranny! It's, Lord Farquaad, who will be played by Todd Buonopane. Todd has appeared in the Broadway production of 'Grease' and has also made TV appearances on '30 Rock' & 'Law & Order: CI.' We can be sure to expect BIG things from... this little dictator of Duloc.'

Producers DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. are thrilled to announce casting for SHREK THE MUSICAL. Native Chicagoan, Eric Petersen will lead the First National Tour cast as Shrek. The Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning SHREK THE MUSICAL will launch its national tour in Chicago beginning July 13 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph St.). Tickets are currently on sale.
