The official Facebook page for SHREK THE MUSICAL has announced that 'First up: he may be small in size (a mere 4 feet, 10 inches), but he makes up for it in tyranny! It's, Lord Farquaad, who will be played by Todd Buonopane. Todd has appeared in the Broadway production of 'Grease' and has also made TV appearances on '30 Rock' & 'Law & Order: CI.' We can be sure to expect BIG things from... this little dictator of Duloc.'

Producers DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. are thrilled to announce casting for SHREK THE MUSICAL. Native Chicagoan, Eric Petersen will lead the First National Tour cast as Shrek.
