Following the stellar launch of Peacemaker, HBO Max has renewed the critically acclaimed and fan favorite series, written and directed by James Gunn and starring John Cena, for a second season. The cast also includes Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Chukwudi Iwuji, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick.

John Cena sat down on Good Morning America this morning to discuss his new tole in hBO Max's DC Comic series Peacemaker. The new series will explore the origins of the character that John Cena first portrayed in James Gunn's 2021 film, 'The Suicide Squad'. The series also features Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, and more.

The series stars John Cena as Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Harcourt, Steve Agee as Economos, Chukwudi Iwuji as Murn and Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith. Watch the new trailer now!

HBO Max has released a teaser trailer for the Max Original series Peacemaker, written and directed by James Gunn and produced by Peter Safran, at DC FanDome.

Freddie Stroma, Sarah Stiles, Gary Anthony Williams and Dan Ahdoot also star, Paris Berelc and Bruce McGill guest star.

ABC has pulled its new time travel drama TIME AFTER TIME from its schedule, effectively cancelling the series. The show becomes the second scripted, freshman series to be pulled from the air this season.
