Barrington Stage Company - under the artistic direction of Julianne Boyd - has announced casting for its Mainstage production of Richard Greenberg's 'The Violet Hour' and the Musical Theatre Lab workshop production of 'My Scary Girl.'

Second Stage Theatre will kick off this summer's Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series with the world premiere of Carly Mensch's 'Len, Asleep in Vinyl.'

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (David Van Asselt, Artistic Director, Sandra Coudert, Managing Director, and Lou Moreno, Associate Artistic Director) concludes its 13th anniversary season with the World Premiere of Steve & Idi, a new comedy by David Grimm directed by Eleanor Holdridge. Performances begin Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008. Opening night is Monday, May 5th at 7pm. The show will run through Saturday, May 24th, 2008.

Friedrich Schiller's Mary Stuart opens at The Pearl Theatre Company on Sunday, April 30th and runs through Sunday, May 21st. Joanne Camp (recently seen in 'Hecuba') and Carol Schultz (recently seen in 'Measure for Measure') star and Eleanor Holdridge (The Imaginary Invalid) directs.
