Written by Ridgefielder Tim Salem, who is the Principal at Scotts Ridge Middle School, with Executive Producer John Balis of Kent, Connecticut (who produced The Entrepreneurs and was Executive Director for Casting By), the film Put It Into Words explores the process a film goes through before it gets made. There will be an on-stage reading of Put It Into Words by the film's actors at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, October 3, at 7 p.m. Pictured are Marq Sheppard, a New York City actor, and actress Kate Billiard of Milford, CT. It will feature 71 poets, 19 musical acts, 10 tabling small presses, 8 poets theater plays, 3 political talks, 2 poets in conversation with one another, 1 d.a. levy lives visiting press, 1 poetry workshop, and 1 small press publishing panel over the four days.

On Friday, May 3, Brooklyn Parks Commissioner Kevin Jeffrey joined Borough President Marty Markowitz; Council Member Stephen Levin; Member of the Beastie Boys, Adam Horovitz; parents of Adam Yauch, Noel and Frances Yauch, and members of the Yauch family; and John Silva of Silva Artist Management, to rename Palmetto Playground in Brooklyn Heights in honor of musician and Brooklyn native, Adam Yauch.

While Mondays get a really bad rep for being the start of a work week, those who have been watching The Voice for a while know with that show, there is now something redeemable about such a universally un-motivating day. The Battle Rounds week two continued in full force. However, with the compatibility of all of these singers, the audience was left wondering if these should be called the "Battle Rounds" at all, because nothing about tonight resembled a battlefield.

Adams has withdrawn from the performance due to scheduling demands. Additionally, Five Star Signs from Stockhausen's Tierkreis will be performed in place of the complete Tierkreis set.
