Center Theatre Group has selected 11 local high school students to participate in the regional finals for the 2021 August Wilson Monologue Competition (AWMC) to be held virtually with participants performing on the stage of the Kirk Douglas Theatre in early March

CTG is announcing the first step in an ongoing organizational shift with the addition of an existing staff member into the organization’s artistic staff and leadership team. Tyrone Davis will shift from the Education, Engagement and Community Partnerships Department into the Artistic Department. Davis’ new title is Associate Artistic Director.

Artistic Director Michael Ritchie announced Center Theatre Group’s 54th season at the Ahmanson Theatre will begin in August 24, 2021, four months later than it was formerly scheduled.
