YPHIL - International Philharmonic Orchestra brings together 100 young talented musicians from 74 countries to represent their countries through music in Seven Epic Concerts, which will conclude with a concert for Global Peace on Isaac Stern Auditorium/Ronald O. Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall during United Nations week.

Gloucester Stage presents Annie Baker's The Flick from tonight, August 20 through September 12 at 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. Winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, The Flick, follows three underpaid employees of a run-down movie theater in central Massachusetts as they mop the floors and attend to one of the last 35-millimeter film projectors in the state while also revealing touching and funny truths about their search for identity. Their tiny battles and not-so-tiny heartbreaks play out in the empty aisles of the movie theater, becoming more compelling than the lackluster, second-run movies on screen. In The Flick playwright Annie Baker uses keen insight and a finely-tuned comic eye to create a funny and heartfelt cry for authenticity in a fast-changing world. In addition to winning a Pulitzer Prize for The Flick, Ms. Baker also received the Susan Smith Blackburn Award and an Obie Award for Playwriting.

Much-loved actor Nadine Garner stars in The Weir, Conor McPherson's beautifully crafted, award-winning play that brings together the great Irish tradition of bar room tales and theatre's power as an arena for storytelling. Proving there's nothing more revealing than the stories we choose to tell, The Weir opens at 8pm tonight 20 August at Arts Centre Melbourne, Fairfax Studio before touring to Hobart for a season at the Theatre Royal.

Director Luke Sheppard today announces the full company for Harvey Fierstein's Casa Valentina. Sheppard directs Tamsin Carroll (Rita), Ben Deery (Miranda), Charlie Hayes (Eleanor), Bruce Montague (Terry), Robert Morgan (Amy), Matt Rixon (Bessie), Ashley Robinson (Gloria), Gareth Snook (Charlotte) and Edward Wolstenholme (Valentina). Amphibian Stage Productions (Kathleen Culebro, Artistic Director) will show a film of the National Theatre of London's production of Everyman, adapted by Carol Duffy and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, today, August 19 at 2pm and 7pm in partnership with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. English Touring Theatre and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse today announce the full cast for the world premiere of their co-production of The Odyssey: Missing Presumed Dead. The production reunites Simon Armitage and Nick Bagnall after their recent collaborations on The Last Days of Troy and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Nick Bagnall directs Lee Armstrong, Simon Dutton, Roger Evans, Polly Frame, David Hartley, Ranjit Krishnamma, Chris Reilly, Sule Rimi, Danusia Samal, Colin Tierney and Susie Trayling.
