Odyssey Theatre Ensemble will present the Los Angeles premiere of an electrifying adaptation, by acclaimed British director Richard Eyre, of what may be Henrik Ibsen’s most controversial play. Directed by Bart DeLorenzo, Ghosts will kick off with two public previews on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 4 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m.

With the previous two performances of Wide Eyed in Wonder—Escapades and Serenades along Love's Trail of Longing sold out, Odyssey Theatre Ensemble’s Music at the Odyssey series has announced one additional performance on July 30.

The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble re-opens its re-envisioning of the Odyssey's 1969 West Coast premiere of The Serpent, the Obie award-winning play by Jean-Claude van Itallie. After a date with someone he met online, Fred calls his best friend Billy for a ride home in the middle of the night. Billy reluctantly picks up Fred. As they approach the bridge to cross the bay, their friendship is tested when Billy's resentment collides with Fred's deepest fear.
