This Saturday, October 8th 2022 Damn The Light the internationally acclaimed Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac tribute will be taking the stage at the legendary New York City rock club Arlene's Grocery.

Dael Orlandersmith celebrates her 60th birthday with a special benefit evening at the Wild Project. The event takes place on Saturday, November 23 at 7 pm at Wild Project (195 E. 3rd Street, between Avenues A & B). Walk with friends, fellow artists, families, and others touched by HATTIE HATHAWAY aka BRIAN BUTTERICK, who died suddenly in late January 2019. This public memorial of the beloved gay cultural icon will begin with a parade and continue to La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theater, 66 East 4th Street, 2nd Floor.

Pink Martini, a McCallum favorite returns for eight great shows Friday, February 9, through Thursday, February 15. In 1994 in his hometown of Portland, Thomas Lauderdale was working in politics, with the intention of eventually running for office. Like other eager politicians-in-training, he went to every political fundraiser under the sun, but was dismayed to find the music at these events underwhelming, lackluster, loud and un-neighborly. Drawing inspiration from music from all over the world, crossing genres of classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop, and hoping to appeal to conservatives and liberals alike, he founded the "little orchestra" Pink Martini in 1994 to provide beautiful and inclusive musical for political fundraisers for progressive causes such as civil rights, the environment and affordable housing.

Fashion and nightclub icons turned out in force to celebrate the opening of their friend and colleague, Paul Alexander, and his new musical TRINKETS playing now at Gene Frankel Theater. Performances are on Aug 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12  & 16. This year's Gala will be led by BSO Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly. The concert features the band Pink Martini with vocalist Storm Large, who will collaborate with the BSO for an intoxicating mix of cabaret, samba, jazz and Hollywood musicals. National Public Radio's news correspondent Ari Shapiro, a frequent guest vocalist with Pink Martini, will perform.

The Night of a Thousand Gowns celebrating the LGBT community - the colorful cross-dressing segment of that community -took place on Saturday, March 31 in New York City. In its twenty-six year history, the Court has donated over a million dollars to worthy LGBT, HIV/AIDS and youth enrichment related causes.
