The Second City and Gilda's Club Chicago celebrated a once in a lifetime evening at the comedy institution's iconic Mainstage theater during a star-studded benefit, I Can't Believe They Wendt There: The Roast of George Wendt. More than 230 guests dined, drank and donated while being entertained by a raucous panel of roasters and special guests that concluded with a surprise appearance by Chris Rock.

The Sorting Room-an exciting new intimate space for live performance-is launching in December at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts through January 14, 2017. Due to popular demand, Blazeco Productions' acclaimed staging of Douglas Carter Beane's Tony Award-nominated comedy The Little Dog Laughed - which closes July 8 at The Secret Rose Theatre in NoHo - will reopen August 17 for an extended run at Zephyr Theatre in West Hollywood.

Douglas Carter Beane's Tony nominated Best Play of 2007 The Little Dog Laughed, with its satirical take on happiness Hollywood Style, especially in its depiction of gay relationships, is timely, topical and most welcome in LA, where ironically there's still enough animosity and money stacked up against same sex marriage.
