Arts for Art has announced a new partnership with the West Harlem Art Fund to present In Gardens at Governors Island. In Gardens at Governors Island will feature two afternoons of FreeJazz performances, Melanie Dyer's Siren Xypher on August 26th and Alexis Marcelo Trio on August 27th.
Returning to Governors Island this coming Saturday is jazz drummer William Hooker. He brings a trio to the Nolan Park section of the island in Building 10B. This free concert is co-presented with the West Harlem Art Fund.

Fire From the Road serves as a powerful tribute to the band’s late saxophonist, Jemeel Moondoc, who passed away in August 2021 from complications of sickle cell anemia.
